Peggy Jo Harris

Graveside service for Peggy Jo Harris, 79, of Azle was to be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 23, at Nelson Cemetery in Reno. Ian Mostert was to officiate.

Harris died Sunday, April 20, 2008, in Decatur.

Born Feb. 20, 1929, in Beaver Dam, Ky., to Lynn L. and Gertrude (Baker) Smith, she married Harry H. Harris in 1955 and was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband; brothers, Bob Smith, Tony Smith and Wendell Smith; and a sister, June Bowells.

She is survived by a son, Harris H. Harris Jr. and wife, Danne, of Azle; daughters Margaret Ann Harris of Azle, Connie Jo Hallmar of Tennessee and Sunny Sue Judge and husband, Woerth, of Azle; four grandchildren, Natalie, Anthony, Joey and Misty; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Bob Smith of Arlington; and other family members.
