Memorial service for Jimmie Louis Noah, 75, of Paradise was to be at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 5 at the First Baptist Church of Cottondale with Charles Pugh officiating.
Noah died Monday, March 31, 2008, in Paradise.
Born Feb. 25, 1933, in Cotulla to Thomas and Opal Noah, he served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Jimmie hunted and fished and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cottondale.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Noah of Paradise; daughter, Amanda Noah of Bedford; brothers, George Noah and Brian Noah of Ozona and Bruce Noah of Arizona; sisters, Louise Kellett of Tennessee, Marie Edge of La Ferria and Benita Noah of Arizona.
The family requests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society or a food bank of choice.
