Funeral for Jannie Marie Doty, 70, will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 12, at East Bridgeport Cemetery. Roger Rhodes will officiate.
Doty died Saturday, April 5, 2008, in Bridgeport.
Born Nov. 15, 1937, to Pete and Arvilla Chance Bridges in Sulphur Springs, she was a Baptist and served as a Sunday school teacher. She married Burrell Doty Nov. 11, 1979, in Fort Worth. She visited flea markets, auctions, estate and garage sales.
Doty was preceded in death by a son, Aaron Doty, and several siblings.
She is sruvived by her husband; three daughters, Linda Chance of Seattle, Wash., Lisa Sales of Omaha, Neb., and Donna Strothers and husband, Richard, of Bridgeport; two sons, Michael Billingsley of Seattle, Wash., and Cecil Doty and wife, Susan, of North Attleboro, Mass.; a brother, Pete Bridges of Bridgeport; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
