Flora Maie Suson

1923-2007

Funeral for Flora Maie Suson, 84, of North Richland Hills, formerly of Boyd, was April 22 in Boyd. The Revs. Harley D. Martin and J.W. Carlile officiated. Burial followed at Boyd Cemetery.

Suson died Friday, April 18, 2008, in North Richland Hills.

Born Oct. 4, 1923, in Athens, La., to John Arthur and Iva (Myers) Brown, she was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Henry Suson; and a brother, John Henry Brown.

She is survived by a daughter, Hazel Gregg and husband, Kenneth, of Weatherford; a son, Robert "Bob" Suson and wife, Janice, of Sulphur Springs; five grandchildren, KaRae, Mandy, Douglas, Diann and John; eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Hazel Coe of Junction; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Pallbearers were John Suson, Scott Branch, Justin Walls, Ben Wright, Bruce Brown and Joey Stigient.
