Irene Ann Schedcik

Memorial mass for Irene Ann Schedcik, 93, of Bridgeport will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 9 at St. John's Catholic Church in Bridgeport with Father Sojan George as celebrant.

Schedcik died Sunday, May 4, 2008, in Bridgeport.

Born Feb. 13, 1915, to Andrew and Katherine Nowicki in Athens, Wis., she was a member of the Women's Catholic Order of Foresters and the Quilting Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Schedcik.

She is survived by her son, Jack Schedcik and wife, Joan, of Runaway Bay; grandchildren, John Schedcik and wife, Brandy, Patrick Schedcik and Risa Schedcik; four great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
