Time to cast ballots in primaries

Voting begins Tuesday in new location

Voters will begin going to the polls Tuesday as early voting begins for the March primary.

But voters need to be aware that the voting location has changed this year.

Early voting in the March 4 Republican and Democratic primaries will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 19-22 and Feb. 25-29 at the Decatur Civic Center, located at 2010 W. U.S. 380, on the east end of the building. One day early voting will be from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, at the Decatur Wal-Mart. For more information, visit http://www.votewise.org

For years, early voting had been in the basement of the county clerk's building.
