My family moved from Wise County over a year ago, and we certainly miss our friends and our church. It has been nice keeping up with them in the Messenger, but my subscription has now expired. I have looked at the local papers, but I am afraid I have been spoiled by the Messenger.
The quality of the writing and editorials just are not there, and no one can come close to Joe Duty for photography. Thanks for a great hometown newspaper and best of luck in the future.
