Please don't dump trash on our land

I would like to thank the gracious individual or individuals responsible for dumping about 100 pounds of old freezer food onto County Road 2485. This occurred between the hours of 12:30 and 7:30 p.m. on Friday, April 11.

The black plastic bags were completely full of zip-lock bags of frozen okra, a custom processed soup bone from a meat market in Muenster and what appeared to be old hams.

I'm sure you turned around close to our house to get back to Old Decatur Road. Maybe next time I'll be able to get your license plate number and turn you in.

Once again, many thanks for your thoughtfulness. I hope to be able to return the favor.
