I am writing this in regards to the election of the Decatur School Board. I am a senior citizen and have not had very much involvement in school board elections. I am making an exception this year.
Dr. Jeff Alling is running for a seat on the board. In my opinion, he is one of the finest men in Decatur. He is a doctor, my doctor, but he goes above and beyond in his concerns and care for his patients. He has heart.
I know of no other person that I would want to help make decisions in regard to the welfare of my grandson that will be going to Decatur schools this next year.
Dr. Alling has children of his own attending Decatur schools, and he also was the team physician for the athletic department for several years. He will have the children of Decatur's best interest at heart. Vote!
