This Friday, May 9, is Tough Enough To Wear Pink Day and we are trying to turn Wise County PINK for a day to raise awareness for breast cancer! We invite every school, business and individual to join us in this endeavor by wearing PINK on Friday to work and then join us after work in PINK for the Butterfield Stage Days Dodge PRCA rodeo at 7:30 pm at the Bridgeport Riding Club Arena.
All monies raised from the Tough Enough To Wear Pink initiative will be donated to Mary's Gift, a local non-profit affiliated with Wise Regional Health Foundation, that provides mammograms to underserved women in Wise County. As a sponsor of this program, Tough Enough To Wear Pink merchandise is for sale at the local Aflac District office. Please call 683-1775 if interested in purchasing merchandise or to make a donation for the cause.
We have over 350 cowboys and cowgirls headed into Wise County for this rodeo. Let's welcome them by showing our support of this cause.
Thanks so much for helping us paint Wise County PINK! Here is a chance to make a difference by raising awareness locally about breast cancer. Thanks again and we will see you on Friday in PINK!
