Reading through the May 1 edition of the Wise County Messenger, I noticed the sports page and the athletes who competed at the Regional Track Meet. This is a great accomplishment and I believe the students need to be commended for their performances, and also congratulations to the track members who made it to state.
I would like to take this opportunity to let the community know about a few more things going on at the high school. The One Act Play advanced to state for the second time in two years. Also, we had four students who competed at state in UIL academics this past weekend.
These students have worked extremely hard and deserve to be recognized.
