I would like to take this opportunity to express gratitude to everyone involved in making the Wise Eyes Run for Hope 5K in Bridgeport a success on Saturday. Special thanks to Sheriff David Walker, Sgt. Debbie Denney and Deputy Paige DoByns with the Wise County Sheriff's Office for their hours of hard work in organizing this event and to the local company who sponsored the T-shirts. We had 39 participants on a chilly Saturday morning and raised over $700 benefiting Wise Hope Crisis Center to provide services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.
