Bill E. Carter and Carter Financial Management were named to the third annual Aggie 100 program which recognizes the 100 fastest growing Aggie-owned or Aggie-led businesses in the world.
The 100 companies with the highest compound annual revenue growth from 2004 to 2006 were recognized in late October at The Zone Club at Texas A&M University's Kyle Field. The honorees were also featured in the November 2007 issue of Texas Aggie, published by The Association of Former Students.
Carter, a Decatur native, is president of Carter Financial Management and chairman of Carter Advisory Services Inc., both of Dallas.
He also owns Coldwell Banker/Bill Carter Realtors in Decatur. One of his most recent professional achievements includes service as a past chairman of the CFP International Council and the Foundation for Financial Planning. Other accomplishments include serving on the board of directors of the Institute of Certified Financial Planners and a listing with the Registry of CFP Practitioners. He is past president and past chairman of the Board of Governors of the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, and also a past chairman of the board of the International Association of Financial Planning.
He was honored in 2000 with Texas A&M University's top honor, the Distinguished Alumni Award. He has served as president of the Association of Former Students.
