HOVEY STREET – TxDOT and the city’s street department cleaned spilled hydraulic fluid from 13th Street to Sonic.
POLICE STATION – A wallet found at the Allsup’s in Chico was brought to the police station. A Wise County Sheriff’s Office deputy retrieved the item.
13TH STREET – A caller reported a speeding vehicle that almost hit a deputy and whose driver stopped at a residence on Third Street and got out holding a beer can. Officer cleared the location advising the can was filled with cigarette butts.

600 BLOCK OF U.S. 380 – A driver tried to dodge an object that had come off another vehicle but couldn’t, thus resulting in an accident.
1500 BLOCK OF VINE STREET – A man complained he couldn’t leave his windows open because of the music from the concert.
900 BLOCK OF TURKEY CREEK – Neighbors complained about loud music from a nearby residence.
RED’S – Officers requested assistance with an intoxicated person, who was arrested for public intoxication and assault by contact.
1500 BLOCK OF HARWOOD STREET – Caller wanted it documented that there was loud music coming from Red’s.
1000 BLOCK OF TURKEY CREEK – A subject called about loud music and when advised of the concert, said officers did not need to be sent.

400 BLOCK OF TURKEY CREEK – Neighbors have an ongoing dispute, and one wanted a restraining order. He called back and said officers could disregard.
1500 BLOCK OF 13TH STREET – Officers responded to a fight in the front yard during which one subject sustained a dislocated shoulder. The perpetrator had left the scene but was located at another residence and arrested for assault causing bodily injury.
400 BLOCK OF TURKEY CREEK – A woman advised there were two people behind the duplexes that “seemed to be trying not to be seen.” Officers weren’t able to locate anyone.

2000 BLOCK OF LAWDWIN AVENUE – One man was chasing after another who had stolen from him.
POLICE STATION – Officers spoke with a man accused of cashing a check payment for roof work he had not completed. The subject claimed he destroyed the check but would look at his records because “he didn’t think he cashed it.”

POLICE STATION – A subject inquired about filing a theft report against a friend. The subject took a statement form to fill out but did not report the incident.
1200 BLOCK U.S. 380 – A store manager confronted a subject attempting to take a fuel pump.

TURKEY CREEK APARTMENTS – A male subject was going door-to-door looking for his wife.
1600 BLOCK OF CHICO HIGHWAY – A manager reported an intoxicated man was trying to write a false check. When officers arrived, they advised that the subject was not intoxicated, but they did issue a criminal trespass warning at the request of the complainant.
HARWOOD PARK – A woman reported seeing one man push an older male after their dogs got in a fight. When officers investigated, both parties had different stories, but neither wanted to press charges or give a statement.
100 BLOCK OF TRINITY STREET – A woman heard a fight outside, a gun shot and a female screaming. Officers found no disturbance, just kids playing outside.
