500 block of CR 1475 – An unknown suspect stole 40 CDs and $170 from a vehicle.

10500 block of FM 730 – A man was pulled over for a defective tail lamp. The driver was found to be intoxicated and arrested.

U.S. 81/287 Business just south of Decatur – A man was pulled over for failure to use a signal. He was found to be intoxicated and arrested.

200 block of Rolling Plains Drive – A man reported that someone was using his checking account and routing number to cash false checks at a Tom Thumb store in Plano. The case was referred to Plano police department.

100 block of PR 2321 – The Department of Homeland Security called the sheriff’s department and warned of a “suspicious” Cessna 180 landing at a private airstrip near a private road. They asked deputies to detain the pilot, check records and run a K-9 around the plane. The pilot cooperated and allowed deputies to search all baggage. No contraband or anything suspicious was discovered.

200 block of CR 4713 – A man reported that he was receiving harassing phone calls from telemarketers.

100 block of Sunflower – A driver plowed through a metal fence in the complainant’s front yard. The license plate was left on the scene.

Intersection of U.S. 81/287 and Hubbard Street – A man was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
