U.S. 81/287 – A vehicle was left in a construction zone, creating a road hazard.

500 BLOCK OF MORTON – A small child was found by a citizen and taken to school. The parents were unaware of the child’s location or welfare. CPS was notified.

100 BLOCK OF LEXINGTON CIRCLE – A fourth-grader said a boy at her school threatened to bring a gun to school. The boy’s parents said they do not have any guns in the home. Everyone involved was to meet with the school resource officer and the principal the next morning.

COUNTY ROAD 3510 AND FARM ROAD 920 – A former employee was accused of stealing a trailer in lieu of a paycheck. The employer later paid the suspect and recovered all stolen property.

PRIVATE ROAD 4909 – A mother said her son was assaulted on a Boyd ISD school bus and wished to file a report with the Sheriff’s Office due to Boyd PD not taking the report.

U.S. 81/287 IN ALVORD – A traffic stop resulted in the arrest of the driver for an outstanding warrant and possession of a controlled substance.
