100 BLOCK OF PRIVATE ROAD 1751 – A man came home to find the front door of his home kicked in. However, it appeared nothing was stolen.
2100 BLOCK OF COUNTY ROAD 3791 – A man called 911 after his girlfriend hit him in the face with a flying cell phone. He decided not to file charges.
6100 BLOCK OF FARM ROAD 51 – Vandals broke into a vacant building and damaged property.
200 BLOCK OF COUNTY ROAD 4870 – Money and jewelry were burglarized from a home in Newark.
700 BLOCK OF W. FRANKLIN STREET – A woman in Alvord thought someone was trying to break into her home. Deputies found a loose window rattling back and forth in the wind.
100 BLOCK OF COUNTY ROAD 4857 – A man reported that his brother broke into his home in Newark and vandalized it.
200 BLOCK OF COUNTY ROAD 4876 – A couple got into an argument because the man wouldn’t help her take care of their baby. Neighbors overheard screaming and called the Sheriff’s Office.
100 BLOCK OF MCGOODWIN STREET – A complaint was filed that a suspect became intoxicated and drove off in the family vehicle.
100 BLOCK OF COUNTY ROAD 3386 – Chains were stolen from a drilling rig at an oil field site south of Paradise.
800 BLOCK OF HOVEY – Officers checked with a suspicious person who turned out to be someone just walking home.
1300 BLOCK OF CHICO HIGHWAY – A suspicious vehicle turned out to be someone waiting to pick someone up.
100 BLOCK OF LAKE ROAD – The driver of a vehicle that was stopped had two warrants. She was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.
2600 BLOCK OF TEXAS 101 SOUTH – A subject was kicking a resident’s car after a verbal dispute. Bridgeport officers responded until a county deputy arrived.
TURKEY CREEK DUPLEXES – Juveniles were riding go-carts in the area.
1900 BLOCK OF HALSELL STREET – A subject complained about loud music, adding that he had called earlier. He did not want to give his name.
200 BLOCK OF COBB STREET – The source of loud music in the area was not located.
200 BLOCK OF COBB STREET – A neighbor complained that loud music was still being played; a warning was issued.
HOVEY STREET – TxDOT and the city’s street department cleaned spilled hydraulic fluid from 13th Street to Sonic.
POLICE STATION – A wallet found at the Allsup’s in Chico was brought to the police station. A Wise County Sheriff’s Office deputy retrieved the item.
13TH STREET – A caller reported a speeding vehicle that almost hit a deputy and whose driver stopped at a residence on Third Street and got out holding a beer can. Officer cleared the location advising the can was filled with cigarette butts.
1300 BLOCK OF WOOTEN AVENUE – A caller reported a 2-year-old in the roadway with no supervision.
400 BLOCK OF TURKEY CREEK TRAIL – Two males were fighting in an empty lot near the apartments.
