600 BLOCK OF N. PROCTOR – A man heard someone outside his residence. When he went to investigate, he observed an older model Chevy pickup with loud exhaust leaving the scene.
400 BLOCK OF PINE ST. – Officers responded to vehicle and train collision. The vehicle was unoccupied. The owner was located, and she stated that she went to get cigarettes and left the house unlocked. Upon returning home, she discovered someone had stolen her car. The owner and a friend attempted unsuccessfully to locate the vehicle, but they did not report the vehicle stolen until questioned how her vehicle ended up on the tracks.
100 BLOCK OF CR 4849 – A woman reported a shooting in progress. Upon arrival, officers learned that the homeowner discovered someone in her shed. The subject pushed her to the ground and fled. A neighbor heard a disturbance outside and discovered the male subject on his property. The neighbor retrieved a gun from his residence and fired one shot from a .410 into the air. Further investigation revealed that the homeowner’s husband shot a .20-gauge into the air to scare the subject. Suspect was not located.
200 BLOCK OF HIGHVIEW TRAIL – A sister thought her brother had hacked into her computer and destroyed her information on it. The sister had no proof other than the brother helped set up the computer, so he knew her passwords. The sister was advised if anything else develops to contact the sheriff’s office.
PR 3387 – A woman wanted to know what to do about her neighbor’s bull that repeatedly gets out. She feared for the safety of her children. She was advised to contact animal control.
200 BLOCK OF CR 1303 – A man was found unconscious in his pickup that was half in the road and half in the ditch. The man had a strong odor of alcohol on his breath. After a brief struggle, the man was placed under arrest for public intoxication.
200 BLOCK OF W. SHERMAN – A man met another man in an online chat room. Both agreed to meet on Jan. 21. One man didn’t show, so the other man called to confront him. Man threatened him over the phone. Man resides in Ohio.
NORTH TEXAS COMMUNITY HOSPITAL – Emergency room staff called to report a patient had a stab wound on her arm. Further investigation revealed the patient had reportedly been stabbed by her daughter.
400 BLOCK OF PRAIRIE LANE – Husband and wife were arguing over the husband’s 19-year-old daughter not finding a job.
TEXAS 199 W (4 C’S STORE) – An approximately 11- to 12-year-old male was attempting to ride his bicycle from Fort Worth to Amarillo. The boy was transported to Lake Worth and released to the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office to be taken home.
5000 BLOCK OF CR 4010 – A woman reported that someone entered her storage container sometime within the past two weeks and stole a saddle and multiple bridle sets.
COUNTY DUMP ON FM 1655 – A man reported that someone entered the office at the dump site and stole a toolbox and tools.
100 BLOCK OF PR 3505 – A landowner reported that a Dodge truck had rammed through his gate on the previous night, leaving the front license plate behind. The deputy was able to make contact with the owner of the vehicle and an arrangement for restitution was established.
