10 a.m. - Dog Show
1:30 p.m. - Dairy Cattle Show
Begin moving livestock into the barns. Animals must be in place by 4 p.m. Weight/breed cards are due to superintendents by 4:30 p.m.
3-5 p.m. - arrival of poultry
3-7 p.m. - arrival of breeding sheep, beef heifers
5-7 p.m. - weigh-in and classification of market steers, prospect steers (receive exhibitor number), market lambs, market wethers and market hogs

7 p.m. - floor price bids on dairy heifers
2009 Wise County Youth Fair Queens Contest
March 24th, 2009Monday night, March 23, marked the 2009 Wise County Youth Fair Queens contest at the Decatur Civic Center, naming the 4-H, FFA and FCCLA Queens and runner-ups for this year’s Youth Fair. It was a fantastic competition and all the young women were very well-spoken, well-mannered and well-dressed. Each and every one of them deserved the crowns.
The 2009 winners were:

4-H Runner-Up - Jordann Warren, Alvord 4-H
FFA Queen - Jessica Heinze, Slidell FFA
