Leah Guinn of Bridgeport showed the grand champion steer this morning. Candace Clayton of Decatur was named reserve grand champion.

Day Four @ the youth fair,on the downhill side. the day was filled with mostly goat showing,as seem to take up the day,pig showing was scheduled to start at four pm. that will be delayed,due to marathon goat show.Photo wise it was a great day,as usual with the youthfair,most of the kids got another day out of school,so all was good,with them,wich makes my job even easier,I mean how can you go wrong with happy kids, tons of animals. Judged a record number of entries in the photography contest,the work just keeps getting better and better.

8 a.m. - Meat Pens Rabbits Judged - followed by Breeding Rabbits
8 a.m. - Breeding Sheep Show (released following show) - Immediately followed by the Market Lamb Show
10:30 a.m. - FCCLA Foods and Crafts Judged
11 a.m. - 4-H Foods, Crafts and Photography Judged
Noon - Market Goat Show
2 p.m. - Poultry Judged
4 p.m. - Market Swine Show
5 p.m. - Ag Mechanics begin moving in (must be in place by 8 a.m. Friday)
5-8 p.m. - Viewing of 4-H and FCCLA exhibits
