canned white chicken
cilantro
green onions
avacado
celery
mayonnaise
salt and pepper
This is one of those annoying recipes that I don’t have actual measurements to make it happen. You mix all the above ingredients together until “it looks right.” I can say that like I’m an actual chef that knows what she’s talking about because for this one specific recipe, I actually do. I promise, if you just mix all this yummy stuff together, serve it on a croissant, you are good to go!
I wouldn’t steer you wrong!
I like mine sweeter:
Canned chicken
Celery
Red grapes halved
Red Delicious Apple cubed
1 small container of plain or vanilla yogurt
A little mayo/miracle whip
Almond slivers/ sliced
Crunchy Chinese Noodles
I made this on a HUGE scale this weekend for a baby shower – only difference was I used chicken breasts that I boiled and cubed. The chicken held together pretty well, and was super yummy. One of the attendees asked what the ingredients were only after she ate it. She relayed that she is a ‘picky’ eater and was pretty sure that if she asked, she wouldn’t enjoy it as much. Turns out the avocado was my secret ingredient! Thanks Danielle for sharing this recipe with me 11 years ago this June! Can’t believe it was that long ago….
I have to admit, my mother-in-law gave me the recipe all those years ago, but I love that it’s one of my trademark dishes! I have so few of those!
