I breast fed my baby from day 1, but she was also introduced to the bottle from day 1 too. My opinion, its best to introduce baby to one bottle each day. Then you can increase the bottle feedings as you get closer to a complete stop.

She used a plain nipple at first, then I tried her on others.

Dads and siblings can help with the bottle feedings to give baby and mom time away from each other. Then mommy can jump in and share the bottle feeding adventures.

Hopefully, this is helpful advice.

I'd definitely love some more good tips, tricks, etc... Baby A is working on it but it's totally stressing me out at work all day long to get the pitiful bottle reports ("no tears. 10 a.m. 2 ounces. Reject rest") Ouch. Dad is doing all the bottle feeding so it's not me making the attempts but even though I'm not in the house at all she'd prefer to wait for me.

Maybe she should try having dad, siblings, or someone else try feeding the baby with the bottle at first. The baby is used to nursing when mom is doing the feeding, so it's a little more difficult to take a bottle from mom.
