What a wonderful idea that is! I did always have my children tell me something good about their day before they complained, but I like this better!

Thanks to Beverly Ross many people are using Rose, Bud, Thorn at home! I am happy to say our family has made this our tradition as well. It is amazing what wonderful and selfless thoughts come out of the mouths of my precious little ones. They are my roses.

I started this rose, thorn, bud tradition at our house after Rick Ross mentioned it in a sermon. Good times!

Also, Now we find a rose before we do any complaining and sometimes the kids forget about what they were going to complain about.
