Another chupacabra?

It seems a teen in south Texas has killed what might be a chupacabra. Unlike the one found dead of natural causes on the golf course in Runaway Bay January 2010, Carter Pope, 13, shot the gray, hairless creature outside of his La Salle home Sunday. Read the story here.

A somewhat interesting tidbit

While making corrections to a story today, I learned we’ve misspelled the name of the man who designed the Wise County Courthouse in past editions of our yearly visitor’s publication, Welcome to Wise. According to the Texas Historical Commission, J. Riely Gordon designed many of Texas’ courthouses. I wonder what J. Riley Gordon’s profession was.
