Funeral for Gwendolyn Faye Hilton, 88, of Decatur is at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 25, at Coker Hawkins Funeral Home with the Rev. Johnny Irish officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery.

Hilton died Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2010, in Decatur.

Born July 20, 1921, in Petrolia to Grady Groves and Lela Faye New, she graduated from Decatur High School. She married Henry Glen Hilton Oct. 10, 1940, in Decatur.

Hilton was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Decatur, and she was a gardener.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 2006.

She is survived by son, Joe Hilton of San Antonio; daughter, Glenda Beth Holliday and husband, Laird, of Fairview; and granddaughters, Amy Hilton of Austin and Allison Hilton of Lewisville.
