Rascon fans 17, no-hits Stephenville

Stephenville was unable to solve Bodi Rason Friday night, as the Decatur senior no-hit the Yellowjackets in a 4-0 victory.

Rascon struck out 17 and walked three over seven innings.

Chase Oberle went 2-for-3 and drove in two runs.

The Eagles improved to 17-2 and opened District 8-4A play at home Tuesday against Krum.

BROCK 2, BOYD 0

No. 1 Brock squeaked by Boyd 2-0 Friday night.

The Eagles scored a run in the first and second inning, chasing starter Lane Wilson.

Ethan Wilson entered in relief and did not surrender a run in four and one-thirds innings. He struck out six.

It was the Yellowjackets’ first loss in District 7-3A play. Boyd is now 11-5-1 and 3-1 in league play.

The Yellowjackets traveled to Breckenridge Tuesday.

PARADISE 8, PEASTER 1

Parker Cook threw a complete-game as Paradise downed Peaster 8-1 Friday night.

Cook gave up one run on two hits, striking out eight. At the plate, he was 1-for-2 with a walk, driving in two.

Jace Essig went 2-for-3 at the dish with a walk and two RBIs.

The Panthers improved to 9-6-2 and 3-1 in District 7-3A. Paradise went to Tolar Tuesday.

ALVORD 4, HEALDTON, OKLA. 0

Gabe Potter and Kaleb Crable combined for a shutout Friday as Alvord blanked Healdton 4-0 in four innings.

The Bulldogs were back in District 10-2A action Tuesday in Lindsay.

MUENSTER 13, CHICO 4

Muenster ran away from Chico 13-4 Friday night.

The Dragons fell to 2-3 in District 10-2A. Chico headed to Poolville Tuesday.
