Bridgeport’s Ashley Ingram was named District 8-4A Offensive Player of the Year after helping the Sissies reach the regional tournament for the first time in 10 years.

Ingram’s versatility led Bridgeport to a 26-11 record and second-place finish in 8-4A.

Decatur freshman Grace Lowery earned Newcomer of the Year honors, leading the Lady Eagles to the third round of the playoffs. She averaged 13 points and 5.8 rebounds before missing the last four games of district play with a knee injury.

Bridgeport’s first-team selections included junior Emily Vidal and senior Delaney Ingram. Morgen Davidson and Jade Hall were tabbed to the second team.

Kylee Fitzgerald and Katie Hale earned first team honors for the Lady Eagles, with Gracie Isham and Mackenzie Whitaker being named to the second team.
