Decatur takes down Midlothian Heritage

Ethan Southard scored a team-high 15 points as Decatur got back in the win column with a 46-38 victory over Midlothian Heritage.

The Eagles held the Jaguars to five points in the fourth quarter.

Grayson Harris added 12 points. The Eagles improved to 21-3.

Decatur traveled to Wichita Falls Monday.

BRIDGEPORT 29, FORT WORTH COUNTRY DAY 26

The Bridgeport Bulls won a low-scoring affair Friday night, edging Fort Worth Country Day 29-26.

Bridgeport improved to 11-12. The Bulls hosted Henrietta Tuesday.

BROCK 81, PARADISE 40

Brock built a 44-21 halftime lead Friday and never looked back, routing Paradise 81-40.

Mitchell Sellers led the Panthers with 10 points. Mikey Passariello, Morgan Wilmoth and Trace Tyler added six points each.

Paradise fell to 11-9 and 1-2 in District 7-3A. The Panthers headed to Breckenridge Tuesday.

PEASTER 75, BOYD 38

Peaster used a 48-point first half to cruise past Boyd 75-38 Friday night.

Connor Richardson was the only Yellowjacket in double figures with 16 points. Reuben Rodebaugh added seven.

Boyd fell to 7-12 and 0-3 in District 7-3A. The Yellowjackets traveled to Tolar Tuesday.

ALVORD 71, BRYSON 15

The Alvord Bulldogs hammered Bryson 71-15 Friday night.

Alvord improved to 14-5. The Bulldogs went to Valley View Tuesday.

SLIDELL 49, HENRIETTA MIDWAY 32

The Slidell Greyhounds stayed undefeated in District 22-A, using a late first-half run to out a 49-32 victory.

Slidell managed just four points through the first 12 minutes but ended the first half on a 10-1 run. The Greyhounds outscored the Falcons 35-17 in the second half.

“The second half we found our range, hitting five 3-pointers,” said Slidell coach Casey Pierce. “Our defense kept us in it when we were struggling.”

Easton Vanover scored a game-high 20 points. Brock Harwell added 15.

The Greyhounds improved to 17-6 and 2-0 in 22-A. Slidell took on Forestburg at home Tuesday.
