#2 DAYLIGHT SAVINGS BEGINS

Don’t forget the time change next weekend! Daylight saving time begins 2 a.m. Sunday. Traditionally, this meant people moved their clocks forward one hour before going to bed Saturday night. These days many of our devices, such as smartphones and computers, automatically adjust the time, but don’t forget to check clocks in your vehicles and at the office.

The most important takeaway: you will get one less hour of sleep Saturday night. Plan accordingly.

#3 SPRING BREAK

While the week got off to a frigid start, it will end with some warm news for students with the beginning of Spring Break.

All Wise County schools will be out March 11-15.

Some schools will get an early start. Alvord and Slidell ISDs will release school early Friday, and Decatur ISD is closed Friday. It was a scheduled bad weather day.
