Effective April 1, 2019, all property taxes owed to Wise County taxing entities will be paid at the local Wise County Tax Offices. This includes county, school, city and other taxing entities.

The Wise County Appraisal District no longer collects property taxes.

Beginning in October 2019, Wise County taxpayers will receive their property tax statement for county, school, city and other taxing entities on one statement from the Wise County Tax Office. This allows citizens the convenience of paying with one check for all taxes due. Payments can also be made at any one of the county tax offices in Boyd, Bridgeport or Decatur.

Citizens have the option to pay via credit card or e-check at texasonlinerecords.com or by calling 866-739-1010. A bureau code is required when paying online or by phone.

Contact the Wise County Tax Office with questions about the collection of property taxes or the amount owed. Call 940-627-3523 or email taxoffice@co.wise.tx.us.
