William Alan Lamance

William “Bill” Alan Lamance, 64, of Boyd, a retired stone mason, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2019, in Arkansas.

Funeral is 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, at the First Baptist Church in Boyd with burial at Garvin Cemetery.

The Rev. Mark Autry will officiate. Pallbearers include Cody Choumany, Harry Lamance, Logan Choumany, Dusty Lamance, Lynn Cordell, Jamie Lamance, Darrell Lamance and Buck Lamance.

Honorary pallbearers include Tookie Spry, Cody Lamance and Jerry Lamance.

Bill was born Sept. 26, 1954, to Johnnie and Annie (Gipple) Lamance. He was united in marriage Sept. 3, 1990, to Paula Kenner in Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by his son, William Huff; and brother John Henry Lamance.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Paula Lamance; children Tina Morris, Tobie Carnes, Lisa Barnett, Ruthann Huff, Jimmy Kenner, Fawnda White and Tawnya Choumany; 21 grandchildren; brothers Jerry, Buck and Harry Lamance; sisters Dona Whitsitt, Linda Spry and Susie Cordell; and numerous, nieces, nephews and friends.
