Primo Sierra

Primo Sierra, 65, of Decatur, died Monday, Feb. 4, 2019, in Denton.

Mass of Christian burial is 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 9 at Assumption of The Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Decatur with Father Reehan Soosai Antony and Deacon Lauro Huerta officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Primitivo Sierra Jr., Jorge Aguilar, Travis Still, Benjamin Quasebarth, Jorge Aguilar J., Juan Carlos Garcia, Damian Contreras, Carlos Sierra and Carlos Sandoval.

Primo was born Nov. 10, 1953, in Michoacan, Mexico, to Primitivo and Maria (Zambrano) Sierra. He married Margarita Carrillo Dec. 16, 1978, in Chicago. Primo was owner of Primo’s Taqueria.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years; daughters Erica Aguilar and husband, Jorge, of Decatur, Sonia Still and husband, Travis, of North Richland Hills and Evette Quasebarth and husband, Benjamin, of Irving; son Primitivo Sierra Jr. and wife, Sarah, of White Settlement; eight grandchildren; sisters Esperanza Garcia and Maria Sierra; and brothers Ramiro Sierra, Carlos Sierra and Guillermo Sierra.
