Dora Cannie Crisp

Dora Cannie Crisp, 78, of Bridgeport, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, April 16, 2019, in Decatur.

Funeral was April 19 at the First United Methodist Church in Bridgeport with burial in East Bridgeport Cemetery.

The Rev. Rick Davis officiated.

Pallbearers were Kendell North, Chance Crisp, Ethan Crisp, Tag Nolen, Billy Joe Green, Jonathan Fippinger, Jarrod Novicke and Leonard Green.

Honorary pallbearer was Andy Floyd Crisp.

Dora was born Nov. 25, 1940, to Floyd Ivan and Maggie Pauline Barker in Hope, Ark. She married John Henry Crisp Aug. 10, 1955, in Levelland. Dora was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Bridgeport.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; son Floyd Ivan Crisp; and sister Maxine Strickland.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her three sons, John Crisp and wife, Beverly, of Bridgeport, Henry Crisp and wife, Thresia, of Decatur and Tony Crisp of Bridgeport; six granchildren, Kendell, Tiffany, Adreane, Chance, Ethan and Rian; eight great-grandchildren; sister Fannie Maye Green of Iowa Park; brother Ivan Floyd Reynolds of Yoakum; and numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
