U.S. 380 BRIDGE WORK TO BEGIN – Construction is scheduled to begin this week on the U.S. 380 bridges over Farm Road 730 in Decatur. The project will replace the deck on the eastbound U.S. 380 bridge and provide a new pavement overlay on the westbound bridge. Crews will start by conducting bridgework on the eastbound bridge. To allow for this work, traffic on eastbound U.S. 380 will be shifted onto the westbound bridge, with traffic reduced to one lane in each direction. Afterwards, traffic will be switched over to the completed eastbound bridge. Then, the westbound bridge will be resurfaced. During this work, the Farm Road 51 ramp to westbound U.S. 380 will be detoured to Business U.S. 380 for safety and mobility. Construction is estimated for completion in early 2019.
