Two unrelated wrecks, including one that killed two people, had Texas 114 shut down in two places between Bridgeport and Paradise Thursday evening. The first wreck happened around 7:40 p.m. when two pickups were involved in a head-on collision on Texas 114 at the Trinity River bridge just outside the Bridgeport city limits. Two people in one of the vehicles were killed. The condition of the second driver was unknown. No other information was immediately available. The second wreck happened around 8:30 p.m. within a couple of miles east of the first wreck on Texas 114 near County Road 3332. Multiple children were injured in that wreck. One child was flown to Cook Children’s Hospital in Fort Worth and at least two other children were transported by ground ambulance to the same hospital. More information on both wrecks will be posted when it is available.
