Track: McDonald takes gold, Doughtie sets school record

Bronze Finish

Cooper McDonald took home the gold at the District 6-5A track meet, launching a discus throw of 153 feet on Wednesday. He advanced to area.

James Doughtie set a Northwest school record in pole vault, flying 14-6. He tied for second.

Daylee Doggett won the girls 300 hurdles, clocking a 47.05. Miley O’Dell won the discus with a throw of 115-2. She claimed silver in the shot put with a 35-8.

Jazzmine Harvey won the girls high jump, clearing 5-4.

The boys team placed seventh overall with 34 points. The girls team finished sixth with 76 points.
