Track: Decatur finishes fourth at Keller Relays

The Decatur boys and girls track teams finished fourth at the Keller Relays Thursday with 79 and 76 points, respectively.

Adam Martinez took bronze in the 100-meters, clocking an 11.05. Triston Read also claimed bronze in the 400-meters, finishing in 51.32 seconds.

Christian Isaac brought home gold in the 800. He paced the field with a 2:01.17. Read finished second. Gabe Embree PR’d in the 3200-meters with a 10:16.69.

Riley Love, Adam Martinez, Cole Denman and Jhett Parker got third in the 4×100 relay. They clocked a 43.57.

In field events, Charles Doubrava took home silver in discus. He recorded a throw of 128 feet, 2 inches.

On the girls side, Autumn Finney, Mallory Downe, Kallie Boner and Macy Downe claimed bronze in the 4×100 relay. They finished with a time of 48.92 seconds. The Lady Eagles finished second in the 4×400 relay, as Finney, Makenzie Fox, Aly Skarke and Mackenzie Whitaker clocked a 4:07.10.

Makenna Gantt launched a throw of 36 feet, 3.5 inches in the shot put, finishing in second place. Whitaker earned silver in the high jump, clearing 5 feet. Finney placed second in the long jump with a leap of 16 feet, 7.5 inches.
