Softball: Henrietta snaps Paradise’s streak

Henrietta jumped out to an early lead and never looked back Tuesday, snapping Paradise’s eight-game winning streak with a 7-4 victory.

Kendall Candioto suffered the loss for the Lady Panthers. She surrendering four runs on three hits in three innings. She struck out five.

Kailey Thomas gave up three runs on two hits in three innings in relief. She also went 2-for-2 at the plate with two walks.

Paradise fell to 14-4 overall and 6-1 in District 8-3A. The Lady Panthers took on Jacksboro Friday.


Boyd could not overcome a five-run fourth inning in a 9-6 loss to City View Tuesday.

Kristin Rasbury scattered nine runs on eleven hits in six innings of work. She struck out four and walked one.

Rasbury went 2-for-4 at the plate and drove in two runs. The Lady Jackets committed five errors on the night.

Boyd dropped to 5-15 overall and 3-4 in District 8-3A.
