Joe Koch won his Paradise head coaching debut Friday as the Panthers knocked off S&S Consolidated 21-7.

Paradise senior Jacob Robinson rushed for 79 yards and a touchdown, including the 41-yard go-ahead score in the fourth quarter to put the Panthers up 13-7. Jack Ishmael’s extra point failed.

Jace Essig scored his second touchdown of the night with 2:32 left in the fourth to give Paradise a 21-7 edge. Through the air, Essig was 4-for-10 for 54 yards.

S&S scored its lone touchdown of the game in the second quarter on a one-yard run by Cole Sloan. In a somewhat sloppy game, the Panthers and Rams combined for 11 fumbles, but only three were lost.
