The Alvord boys golf team finished second at the District 11-2A tournament last Wednesday. The Bulldogs shot 399 as a team and advanced to regionals.
Tanner Petree carded an 88. Clayton Machal fired a 99. Ransom Klein finished with a 101. Parker Raines shot a 111. Playing as individuals, Shea Buckaloo shot a 113 and Gabe Potter fired a 115.
Two Alvord girls also qualified for regionals as individuals. Addi Woodall carded a 121. Bella Warren fired a 123.
Chico’s Dakota Counts shot a 106 at the District 11-2A tournament last Wednesday and advanced to regionals.
Willie Payne and Emily Freeman are alternates. Payne fired a 108. Freeman carded a 135.
The 2A Region II tournament is April 23-24 at The Old Brickyard Golf Course in Ferris.
