Decatur blanked the defending 4A state champion Krum Lady Bobcats 9-0 Tuesday night.

The Lady Eagles moved to 18-3 overall and wrapped up the District 9-4A crown, improving to 9-0.

Decatur has won its last three games by a combined score of 37-0. The Lady Eagles hosted Sanger Friday in the regular season finale.


Argyle dispatched Bridgeport 17-1 in four innings Tuesday.

The Lady Eagles scored nine runs in the fourth inning and racked up 14 hits.

Katelyn McComis started for the Sissies in the circle. She gave up nine runs on 11 hits in three and two-thirds innings.

Bridgeport fell to 1-8 in District 9-4A. The Sissies traveled to Gainesville Friday.


Paradise dropped a pivotal game in District 8-3A, falling to Wichita Falls City View 3-2 in 14 innings Tuesday.

Kendall Candioto threw 238 pitches in 13 and one-thirds innings of work for the Lady Panthers. She struck out 17 and walked nine.

The Lady Mustangs scored the winning run in the bottom of the 14th on a walk-off single. Paradise had a 2-0 lead, going into the seventh inning. City View tied the game on a two-out RBI-single.

The Lady Panthers have lost five of their last six games. Paradise hosted Henrietta Friday in the regular season finale. If the Lady Panthers win, they would force a three-way tie for the district title.

Henrietta wins the league title with a victory over Paradise.


Jordan Salmon and Kaylee Rutledge tallied four RBIs apiece as Boyd rocked Nocona 19-1 in three innings.

Every Lady Jacket recorded a hit, and all but one plated a run.

Kristin Rasbury picked up the win for Boyd, surrendering one run on two hits with six strikeouts.

The Lady Jackets have won five straight games. Boyd is 8-5 in District 8-3A and hosted City View Friday.

With a win and a Paradise win Friday, the Lady Jackets would be in a three-way tie for the district title with the Lady Panthers and Henrietta.


Kinly Walker went the distance, but it was not enough for Alvord in a 9-2 loss to Lindsay.

Walker gave up nine runs on nine hits in seven innings. She struck out one and walked one.

The Lady Knights scored five runs in the final two innings.

Alvord fell to 7-6 in District 11-2A. The Lady Bulldogs hosted Collinsville Friday in the regular season finale.
