COUNTY COMMISSIONERS – Wise County commissioners Monday will again discuss options for glass recycling at the Decatur dump site. They will also consider a TxDOT bridge project on County Road 2224, and they will review seven plats. The meeting is at 9 a.m. in the third-floor conference room of the courthouse in Decatur. It’s open to the public.

DECATUR EDC – The board of directors for the Decatur Economic Development Corp. Wednesday will consider awarding a $2.8 million contract to McMahon Contracting LP for the construction of streets and utilities for Eagles Landing Business Park. They will also possibly take action on a performance agreement for Project LID. The board meets 8:30 a.m. at the EDC office, 203 W. Walnut St., Suite 102. The meeting is open to the public.

DECATUR ISD – Decatur High School closed campus is among the items on the agenda for Monday’s meeting of the Decatur ISD School Board. The district will also look to hire a high school principal and review a school safety audit. The meeting starts with a closed session at 6 p.m. with the board reconvening at 6:45 p.m. The meeting is open to the public and will be held at the Decatur ISD Administration Building, 307 S. Cates.

CITY OF BOYD – Boyd city council members will be presented with several water rate options by engineers Tuesday at their meeting. The council will also consider a predevelopment agreement with developer Bob Shelton for his proposed 580- to 590-home development, Springhill South. The council will hold a pre-council discussion at 6 p.m. and the regular meeting will start at 6:30 p.m. at the Boyd Community Center at 420 E. Morton Avenue.
