NORTHWEST TRUSTEES TO CONSIDER MIDDLE SCHOOL BOUNDARIES – Northwest ISD trustees will look to set the attendance zones for its middle schools Monday. The district has delayed setting the boundary between Adams, which will open in the fall, and Chisholm Trail. The district has held multiple meetings, including a town hall meeting at Chisholm Trail, to discuss the proposed boundary at the Wise-Tarrant county line. With the proposed boundary, Chisholm Trail’s enrollment is expected to cut from more than 1,000 students to 492. The meeting will start at 5:30 p.m. with a closed session. Trustees will reconvene for the open session of the meeting at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Northwest ISD Board Room, 2001 Texan Drive, Fort Worth, Texas 76177.

DISD TO NAME INTERMEDIATE PRINCIPAL – Decatur ISD Superintendent Judi Whitis plans to recommend a candidate to trustees for the Decatur Intermediate principal post Monday. The district is planning for a fifth- and sixth-grade campus at McCarroll Middle School in the fall. Trustees will also cancel the May election after only three candidates filed, Matt Joiner, Place 5; Charlie Tibbels, Place 6; and Marsha Hafer, Place 7. The meeting starts at 6 p.m. at the Decatur ISD Administration Building with a closed session. The open session will convene around 6:45 p.m.

BOYD TO DISCUSS SRO FOR BOYD ISD – Boyd City Council members will discuss a contract with Boyd ISD for a school resource officer at its meeting 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. The two entities have been negotiating for the past month. The council will also discuss a mosquito control program. The meeting will be held in the Boyd Community Center at 420 E. Morton Avenue.
