Bridgeport police are investigating a burglary of a pharmacy early Saturday morning.

The burglary took place just after 4 a.m. Saturday at Gail’s Pharmacy, located at 810 Woodrow Wilson Ray Circle near U.S. 380.

Lt. Jerry Upton said after the burglary, pharmacy employees noticed prescriptions were missing. Surveillance video from inside the pharmacy shows the burglary taking place.

“It was three subjects wearing hoodies, masks and gloves,” Upton said. “They pried open the front door, grabbed bottles and took off running.”

The video did not show any vehicle outside that may have been used by the suspects.

Upton said any nearby businesses along U.S. 380 or Texas 101 that has outdoor surveillance video from around 4 a.m. Saturday could show the suspects fleeing from the scene. Anyone who might have such a video should call Bridgeport PD at 940-683-3430.

He said other pharmacy burglaries have been reported in the area in recent months, including burglaries in Graham, Mineral Wells, Cisco, Eastland, Midland, Comanche and Clyde, and investigators are trying to determine if this weekend’s burglary in Bridgeport might be related. Prescription drugs were taken in those cases as well.
