Hobbies: Will loves to spend time with his family, play football and play on his tablet.

“There are so many reasons Will Dean was chosen for the student spotlight at VCA. One of the main reasons is Will always displays true joy and happiness. When Will is walking down the hallways at VCA, he is always smiling, laughing and giving hugs. He is such a thoughtful boy with a kind heart. Will is also very smart, athletic and does not hesitate to share his love of Jesus. It is a true honor and privilege to have Will Dean at VCA and we are looking forward to the great future that God has for him.” – Principal Scott Stanford

Family: Husband, Josh Pinkerton; daughter, Emma Pinkerton, 9; son, Ethan Pinkerton, 4

Experience: taught first grade for 5 years and second grade 3 years

Hobbies: “Crafting, DIY projects, being outside with my family, riding the Can-Am, skiing on the lake and feeding and working cows.”

Why did you choose education as a profession: “I chose education because I wanted to make a difference in the lives of the children of our future. Spending each day with these God-loving students makes my job so fulfilling. Seeing the love, determination and willingness of my students each day motivates me to grow as a teacher. I can honestly say I have the best job in the world.”
