Raiden Lopez


Raiden Lopez

Parents: Benjamin and Kristi Lopez

Favorite subject: Science

Hobbies: Shopping, watching the Dallas Cowboys, playing for the Bridgeport Mini Bulls are some of his hobbies.

“Raiden works hard at Bridgeport Elementary. He has a positive attitude and he is known for his great smile. Raiden is very giving. If he thinks someone needs anything, he is the first one to share.” – Principal Martha Brock

Emily Rodriguez


Emily Rodriguez

Parents: Renee’ and Cecilio Rodriguez

Favorite subject: Reading

Hobbies: “I usually play outside with my baby sister and brothers. I play basketball and softball. I also like to cook!”

Giovani Lopez

Hobbies: Playing soccer, running, attends St. John’s Catholic Church.

“Giovanni is off to a great start this school year with two dominating performances in cross country meets. This week, he placed first at the Brewer Meet. Gio is a child that makes everyone around him happier. He always shares a smile and kind word with all his classmates and teachers. His positive attitude and spirit are contagious at BMS. We couldn’t ask for a better representative of our campus!” – Principal Travis Whisenant

Katelyn Lanfear

Favorite subject: World geography and social studies

Hobbies: Cheerleading, National Honor Society and student council

“Katelyn is a true leader at BHS. She is captain of the BHS varsity cheerleaders. She is a top student at BHS academically. One thing that sets Katelyn apart from others is her serving attitude. She volunteers and serves Bridgeport ISD and the community any time it is needed. Katelyn will attend Tarleton University in the fall of 2019.” – Principal Jaime Sturdivant

Chad Berardi


Chad Berardi

Position: 8th grade math teacher

Family: Wife, Patina Berardi, son Connor Berardi, 9, and daughter Carlee Berardi, 6.

Experience: Chad was a coach and math teacher for Bandera ISD before joining Bridgeport in 2014. He currently serves as an 8th grade math teacher and the BMS math department head.

Hobbies: Hunting, fishing, riding bikes with his kids

Why did you choose education as a profession? What do you like about it?

“I like to be able to serve the kids and the community. I enjoy helping the kids be successful. I’ve always enjoyed math and love seeing kids who struggle with math be successful.”
