“Jadon is one of the hardest working students in BHS. Whether it is academics or athletics, Jadon always gives 110 percent. This year Jadon’s true character showed when he got hurt during a football game. He never missed a beat and continued to show up for all practices and games to encourage his teammates. He is kind and goes above and beyond to help others. He receives lots of recognition for athletics but always remains humble and appreciative. He is a role model for all students. He epitomizes the qualities that we look for in our BHS students. He has a bright future, and I can’t wait to see what it holds for him.” – Principal Jaime Sturdivant

Why did you choose education as a profession?: “I chose education as my profession because I always loved learning, whether it be for my extracurricular activities or core classes and I wanted to instill that enjoyment of learning in my students. I have also admired the educators I have had before me and aspired to do what they do. I love seeing the sparks of interests that occur in my students when they finally understand the concepts being presented. I also love being able to share my love of music and creating music with my students.”
