“Macie was recommended in 6th grade to attend the National Youth Leadership Forum: Explore Stem. After her participation that summer, she was invited back to attend the Leadership Forum during the summer of 2017. As an alumni, Macie will again participate in the National Youth Leadership Forum this summer in Houston where she will have opportunity to watch a live surgery, learn how to take vital signs and attend classes to help prepare her to attain her goal of becoming a pediatric orthopedic physician. We are proud of Macie and the exemplary way she represents Boyd Middle School.” – Principal Barbara Stice
