Genevieve Cox

Genevieve “Ginger” Cox, 83, of Arlington, died Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2018, in Arlington.

Funeral was Aug. 6 at First Baptist Church in Alvord with the Rev. Larry Nelson officiating. Burial followed in Alvord Cemetery.

Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur handled arrangements.

Ginger was born July 18, 1935, in Alvord to Kathleen (Miller) and Earnest Vernon Graham. Ginger spent almost 30 years as a real estate broker in Arlington. She was a member of the Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her son, Brad Cox and wife, Kim, of Arlington; daughter Kaylah Cox Johnson and husband, Jef, of Burleson; sisters Eva Jo Wiley and husband, Bill, of Denver, Colo. and Robbie Graham Bemmett of Bowie; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
