Eva Wynell Zinn

Eva Wynell Zinn, 86, of Denton, died Friday, Feb. 23, 2018, in Denton.

Funeral is 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 28, at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Decatur with the Rev. John Franklin officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Kevin Byrne, Jon Zinn, Max Duncan and Robert Duncan.

Eva was born March 7, 1931, in San Angelo to Floyd and Willie (Osborne) Wiley. She married Edward Vance Zinn Dec. 26, 1949, in Spade. Eva retired from teaching. She was a member of the Southmont Baptist Church in Denton.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; son Wiley Zinn; and twin daughters Jeannie and Judy Zinn.

She is survived by her daughters, Joy Duncan and husband, Jay, of Denton and Kathy Phillips and husband, Fred, of Temple; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother Raymond Wiley and wife, Betty, of Lubbock; and daughter-in-law Debbie Zinn of Belton.
